Thanks for taking the time to do this, I can't imagine how hard it must've been but it helps getting a good idea of what the game is about. I looked at some other previews and I had no idea, now it's much clearer.

Great video. This game does look longer then I had originally thought that it would be. However after playing Forge War and Gloomhaven I am not sure why I would expect it to be a short game. Now if only the kickstarter campaign would start I can get this game backed.

In a 4 player game, can a player who doesn’t control a resource, (ex: knowledge and stone), build one that someone else controls? It is ambiguous in video and rules. Thanks!

Hi John. I'm probably a little late to the party but great video as always. You mentioned that it took you ten hours to film. How long does a 3 player game actually take to playout from start to finish?

Since backing Gloomaven, I was very interested in Founders. But after watching this ( which is very good ) I'm left dumbfounded, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary steps and or actions and what may stretch out this game beyond making it enjoyable. It may be just me but it feels I'm looking at a 5+ hour game that may be stricken with an overdose of AP. But I'll keep watching the KS and maybe I figure it out.

At ~17:42 you're putting a neutral resource into play from the Yellow player, but rather than connecting to his existing stream of resources you connect it to the Green player's. I didn't understand the why/how of that placement at all.

Great video, but the game looks extremely dry and boring... and full of small but strange design decisions (e.g. your race's resource should be above the slot for the other resource card and not below, then it would be next to its icon)

I might have missed it.. but what stops a player from calling votes several times in a row?
with all cards in their hand that would mean sure win over which building gets placed + possible quite a few money.

I will play forge war than this game.

Points why I am not backing this game on KS.
1) The board geographic shape looks awful. Hex tiles will look better than square.
2) The game does not scale well with 2/3 players. A robot mechanic like the one in power grid will fix this.
3) The greedy neutral mechanic takes a lot of points when scoring. Just leave the scoring as it is.
4) fleeting and permanent influence does not make sense. Just make the influence permanent.
5) The "fast forward" game play feels rewarding after the game, the map looks like a bustling city, while the "start from nothing" game play feels like you ended the game while gloomhaven is still an old messy western town. In forge war, if you play fast-forward or start-from-nothing, it feels an epic game performing quests as you train your heroes and get better weapons.
