This pair is world class! The entrance to that first lift is everything! I wonder if they can win nationals? I know Kneiram and Fraser have proven to have a great first season together but I really think this pair can be on the same level.

The have beautiful lifts even if all those positions aren’t the most aesthetically pleasing. She has struggled with jumps and throws for the last 7 or so years, so it’s a pleasant surprise to see her land a triple. But lifts have always been a strength for both of them. She has lovely extension.

So nice to see Danny on the ice, he really looks happy. There is a lot of work to do on some critical elements but that being said, they are doing very well with the lift elements, the spins are good, twist was solid and they do seem to have an on-ice connection. I definitely see potential. Good first outing. Congrats to the new team 👍👏

He's really strong -- physically (those lifts are effortless) and artistically. Smooth skater. And that lift out of the spin is something else. There appears to be a genuine connection between him and Chelsea, amplified by their height and skating styles. Attractive pair with obvious talent.

Very nice lifts. Good twists. Like all American pairs, it will come down to whether or not they can do those SBS jumps.

They have great potential and Danny is a great skater but I’m not a fan of their choice of music I hope they change it as it’s does nothing for them.

They are well matched in their body proportions. Beyond technical goals the pair has, Danny needs to work on his hands and arms…well, actually, his whole upper body to some degree. Not to strengthen them, but to work on how he uses his upper body in aesthetically pleasing ways (as opposed to appearing at a loss as to where to put them at different times, ) and to express the music commensurate with his partner. Ballet classes may be in order.
