Alr nice of a list but here are some final tips I would like to give as a 3rd year engineering student

1. Clothes are temporary but your personality and image in college is permanent(almost)

If you want to be a chick magnet then yes clothes and fashion might be a booster,
Yes definitely you need something decent not something expensive

2. Don't invest in too many shirts, stuck with the basic tees, it's a pain in the ass to wash em

3. Don't waste yo daddy's money in college shopping he has paid nuff for the admission and your ass in JEE
What I would suggest is get a watch, earphones, basic selfcare products and a couple of basic clothing
