It feels Create and TFC have conflicting ideas on balance.
TFC: Your stack sizes are smaller, chests are more expensive and can't hold as much, and food rots faster if you don't use its own special container.
Create: Glue all those chests together and you can carry them in your pocket! Isn't that convenient?

Be careful with the minecart contraption to transport multiple chest in one inventory slot. It had my server hard crashed when a too large one was dropped on the floor.

I love how the minecart with all of the mined ores and stone, stored in many chests, is considered Very light and Very small

I think if you leave the drill head as an entity all the way down and back, then it will pass through the obsidian on the way back up.

If it gets stuck, just invert the drills needed to remove the obsidian on the way back up

This episode is insane. I love to see you go from nothing all the way to those crazy farms in vanilla. ATFC takes it to another level though; you start even lower and end way higher

Yeah I think you shouldleave the pulley on "Place only at starting position". That way it shouldn't be able to get stuck at all, since it's not a solid block till it gets back

Man, combining the most underpowered mod with the most op mod in modern versions of Minecraft sure are a harsh contrast.

Rather than transfering everything onto a chest pile minecart contraption. you could pull it back on the gantry and transfer the whole contraption, wind turbine and all. Then you can make a dock for it and just plonk it down again wherever you want to mine. Also still feels less cheaqty than just using a minecart mining contraction.

24:28 couldn't you just change the rope pulley to make the contraption below (so in this case the drills and chests that shouldn't get stuck) only a solid block when at its starting position, which you could set at the top and then just reversing it once its at bedrock?
This way it shouldn't get stuck on any blocks that form since it would continue to be an entity that could move through blocks even after reaching bedrock

I have seen people make drilling contraptions which is attached to a minecart as well.
Such that you could just bring your giga drill to any new ore location, place a few rails, and you are already in business.
The option to pick up an entire contraption is definitely what makes the create mod as a convenience for lots of situations.

This has got to be my favorite minecraft series in a while. The videos are just long enough to feel satisfied but not too long and they are allways packed with interesting things going on
