There’s a distinction between killing and murder. All murder is killing, but not all killing is murder.

Regardless of if he was justified or not, God loves his children and if he repents and turns to God, he will be forgiven. That’s the beauty of the gospel. I pray I never find myself in a position where I have to sin for my job, being a veteran isn’t easy. But God does love him.

I had always heard, too, that in the original Hebrew text the commandment says, "Thou shalt not commit murder." "Murder" is way different than "Kill."

Im sorry brother, the sad reality is that warrior class is being used by the enemy now.... Our government does not do God's work, but the work if man and selfish desires. A lot of our force is not justified....I understand the heart breaking pain of any soilder realizing this....
