Checking out a brand new tech trail on the North Shore (as well as a few classics!). This technical masterpiece was built by Martin Newman & Neil Gilchrist with support from the NSMBA.

Good to see you back. Cam looks fine and sounds fine in my opinion, but I'm not super picky. Saw that some people prefer a wider FOV, but that always comes at the price of substantial distortion at the edges. This just gives a pretty natural feeling view.

I do love the types of trails you have there, wish we had some similar stuff over here.

Everything is fine with the filming! Glad to see you and Dale go with the Action 4. It does so great in low light underwoods conditions. Last year a lot of MTB videos posted on platforms were filmed with the X3 and the distortion and spaghetti arms were not what I preferred. Keep up with your top tier content!

Welcome back! The camera looks good. It's less distorted than the previous one, but has more of the go-pro effect of flattening out very steep and techy parts of the trail.

Hey Dave,
I'm new to the channel. I discovered it this week. I really love your videos - the energy and vibes that you're giving off while riding. These videos are impressive and yet they are honest. I like the parts where you go nope, not today, or not alone. This is incredible motivating for people like me on a lower skill level. It neither looks easy nor does it look hard when you're riding. It's just honest and fun. Just enjoy the ride.

Regarding the camera: I think that the audio and video quality is really nice. It feels sharper at higher speeds than the previous one. The angle seems a bit steeper and more anxiety inducing than the previous setup. Personally I prefer the center a bit further ahead.
