Skip attacked Shannon’s career to make Tom Brady look better. Shannon simply defended himself by stating he was happy with how his career ended and that he wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Shannon was criticizing Tom's acutal play...not overall career, and Skip wouldn't admit that he wasnt playing well...then he literally said Shannon is jealous of Tom...let's not forget that...this is what triggered the beef it had nothing to do with his opinion he literally minimized him to prop Tom and you don't do that.

We all saw what happened in that episode with Skip & Shannon. And we all know that Skip is KNOWN for crossing the line whenever he's losing a debate. You are definitely off point with your viewpoint. Skip continually berated Shannon and said that Shannon is jealous of Tom Brady. And Skip kept saying it, and Shannon became fed up. And Shannon replied, "I'm in the f'ing Hall of Fame. I did what I did. I'm not jealous of Tom Brady." Shannon did not understand why it was necessary for Skip to take personal shots at him, to defend Tom Brady.

Shannon had to hang it up at 35, because he played tight end, and rules were not changed to protect him every time he took a hit. Tom Brady would not have played until 45, if he played in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. They literally body slammed quarterbacks in those days. Today, you cannot sneeze on the quarterback.

You need to get your facts straight before you come and defend Skip Bayless. Shannon mentioning the Hall of Fame had nothing to do with whether Skip knows the game of football. Shannon was defending himself. Go back and watch the entire argument and make a video to say that you are wrong on this take. And I am not some apologist for Shannon, for I believe he is turning into Stephen A. Smith -- arrogant, narcissistic jackass. I mean, Shannon always had his ways, but now he can be unbearable at times. But he said it himself: "Money does not change you. It makes you more of who you already are."
