Springtail Culture for Terrariums or Live Fish Food

Here's the basics to reproducing and maintaining your own spring tail colonies as fish feed, or for use in your terrariums, ecospheres & jarrariums.

Caring for springtails is easy. Just add more rice grains when there's none left, and occasionally open the tub to ventilate. Top up the water as required. If you want to remove them without pouring out the water, you can also tap, or blow, and they'll hop right out.

With a monthly routine of setting up new colonies, you'll soon have farms of spring tails .
