This amped Urashiki had reflexes fast enough to dodge Amaterasu at point blank and Jiraiya, although for a few seconds, keeping up in base is a feat im proud of.

Even Kakashi highly respected Jiraya for more than just his intellect. His skills as a shinobi are legendary and this is a man with no BS genetics or clan heritage.
Kakashi was even astonished on how Jiraya could be killed in battle and that it could only be the leader of the Atatauki able to do that
But Nagato admitted if Jiraya knew the secret behind his bodies, he could’ve won. Nagato even respected his master’s skills despite having God’s eye

Jiraiya was a good character. Man was crazy powerful. I feel like he’s underrated sometimes. He could have been Hokage but he refused the offer. I can’t say that I blame for doing that. Being as powerful as he is, he had his own intentions to seek. Good man.

So when Kashin does the exact same techniques, like Dark Swamp in an upcoming fight, the viewer gets to thinking.

Jiraiya protected naruto and boruto and also countered his ability to absorb chakra using sealing jutsu without even going into sage mode and also inflicted poison damage on urashiki and nearly defeated him

Jiraiya has always been my fav next to Minato. They're just really well rounded and able to adapt to situations in a heartbeat.

Also, what a lot of people don't understand is "Surpassing" their master doesn't exactly mean becoming stronger. It just means the student was able to learn the same jutsus as their master and then some. NAruto learned some killer moves in sage mode, but Jiraiya actually knew more sage art jutsus and had a very different style than Naruto. Mainly because of his ability to use fire, which mixed in well with the toads abilities.
