You know, this intro really shows how far not only Astro Boy, but also anime in general has come in the past 50 years, and how much more accepted it has become on an international scale. I honestly wonder how the children of the 1960s would react if they were to see the introduction to this 2003 show. Lets hope to see another Astro Boy show by 2020!

Hard to say which op from sub and dub is better, the Japanese opening felt like the stories of astro boy and friends and felt like a real anime opening with some good music for 2000s standards, this one has a "the future is here kids" with a mega man vibe (granted I know atom, aka astro boy, existed a long time before double M was thought of) with music that fits the futuristic tone
