Between October 31 and November 10, 2015, Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, paid his third visit to Nepal.

Like many other holy sites in the Kathmandu area, Swayambhu stupa and many buildings in its vicinity were damaged during the earthquake that caused widespread devastation across Nepal on April 25, 2015.

On November 9, His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa visited Swayambhu for the first time. Together with some of his monks and other venerable teachers from the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism he performed a purification ritual at the site of the stupa.

I can't imagine that a Buddha monk (wherever he lives on this earth) can be accepted to get married and have children during his practice of Dharma and Tibetan Buddhism.... If one man can't give up SEX DESIRE in his self and still have sexual intercourse as a daily activity.... The big question is that he is a real & genuine Karmapa or not ? Is he offically recognized by the spiritual leaders of Tibetan Buddha on the base of reincarnation of the previous Karmapa (Karmapa 16)... What's the purpose of his presence and presentation for Tibetan communities inside and A big question?
