The trick with full marks is get the triples that’s where the best bang for buck is. What you want to do is get your energy intensive stuff and your timed waiting stuff ending at the same time. The way to do that is to study the grid when you get it and figure out what’s going to take you too long (usually it’s the classes) and then strategically use gems to trade in the cards until you think your time intensive stuff and energy intensive stuff will finish around the same time. Then use your boosts (usually I go for the second boost) and lather, rinse, repeat.

When you’re about to finish off a pattern and collect points, save up your energy locations around the castle because those come up often, and nothing is worse than getting a 3x find peeves when you just used him five minutes back.

Leave 3 creatures without max xp so you can pick that up quickly when it comes up.

Don’t buy stuff in the store for coins, so you can use those up for full marks. By the time full marks was introduced, I’d already bought everything so now I need to spend hundreds of gems if I want to get that tile. It’s better for me to trade the tile in almost all the time. You can also get attributes from those purchases too.

Stockpile your creature food to quickly get attributes and coins. The time it takes to get 1200 coins and 300 attributes drops dramatically if you have 30 creatures (should always unlock and max your creatures if you have spare food) and 500 (this is enough to be safe).

Don’t do the long term social encounters prior to full marks, like gobstones and drinking at the three broomsticks. You’re going to want to do them if they come up on your grid and you don’t want to have to wait like 10 hrs.

Finally, the top reward is always a costume, don’t go for it unless you really want it. Top 3 is good enough for the actual rewards.

Does it ever occur for you that some players in the ranks just disappear? I swear there were 2 people whose marks follow me closely behind, but all of a sudden these players disappeared!
