Great video. I'm plunkin' down for the NTG-2 though as I can use it with any XLR recorder but you're VERY limited with the SSH-6. Thanks mate!

out of the shotguns in this video, the ME66 has the nicest sound in my opinion.

SSH 6 is also compatible with Zoom f1, not only witj H5 and H6

What software you used in the test? It seems that it is very useful.

Do you know much about this Mic? From what I read about it before I bought it, I was under the impression that you could adjust the mono (directional) and stereo sounds separately. But there is only one gain control. Any ideas? I can't find a Manual online anywhere

Is the SSH-6 stereo shotgun mic capsule as good as or better than the SGH-6 regular shotgun mic capsule? Is the SGH-6 better and more directional than the SSH-6 because it's made only for the one hyperdirectional pickup pattern? Or is the SSH-6 as good as the SGH-6 in sound quality, gain, and hyperdirectionality?

I don’t trust the self-noise test: it sounds much more like some noise in the room.

finally a good comparison every one just records some shit music with no objective self noise test
