The number 4 - I used the article "The" as it is used in French or Romanian. In French and in Romanian the article must be present: Les pommes sont chères ... Merele sunt scumpe ...
I observed that the articles in English are often used differently than in other languages.

The number 5 - there was missing the word "am" and this confused me, Gina. Should probably be "am going to"
