Where's the ferocity? Where's the zeal?

This is why I feel most non-full contact forms of karate have fallen into mockery and disregard nowadays.

He's a black belt and yet I could find younger blue belts who perform the kata with more ferocity and respect towards its intended form than him.

The belt system is a scam and focusing on katas above actual full-contact training has caused karate to lose its identity as a martial art.

Put this man in a real fight against a street fighter in his same weight class and he'll get embarrassed and beat up. Let alone a trained amateur fighter who'd toy with him.

A shame that most goju-ryu practitioners have forgotten that it's a MARTIAL art.

No warrior spirit in this man. He's little more than a dance performer.
