I have to say it took me ages to work out what AAPI fully stood for. We have Asian politicians but I am in oz so it isn’t really unusual to be diverse - I mean in a team of 11 I am the only Australian born. When I was a child my family even went to the Filipino community events all the time when I am not of that heritage. But I know in our TV we tend to get Kiwis, Greeks and Italians rather than Asians so I think there is further to go.
