That's correct, it did happened to me in Atlantic ocean the wave pulled me by force but i have fall down and i have hold strongly on the sand that's saved me😢😮

Yes, i know exactly what you mean. 4 of us went swimming and the waves took us 300 meters away from our spot where we left our bags and other stuff. All of us never have forgotten that, it went like this: you swim 2 strokes forward to get to your stuff, but are pulled back 6 stroke to the deeper sea like a magnet. After all, there was a sign somewhere on the beach that we didn't see, that sign indicates which time to swim and NOT to swim at that beach area.

I got sucked out to sea by a rip current at night when the water is it's coldest, I can tell you from experience, first and foremost I thank god for making it out, unless you have a strong set of lungs, and can swim like a navy seal, your chances are good. Letting panic consume you is the worst thing you can do. Remain calm and use good tact

Very true, I witnessed a couple, after being told of the danger, waled into the water holding hands and laughing, Until, they both had their legs pulled from u der them, Luckily they managed to get out with help from others, !!!! 😮

Don't swim against it or panic swim across it and slowly you will break out of it.

This happened to me but I lived. You can't get out until it spites you out. You can't panic. It sucked me in so fast I thought a shark got me. It was scary but I stayed calm that's why I lived.
