The physicality of her performance really stood out, along with how her character evolved, and how she delivered the lines. Really memorable stuff.

I think anyone who has or has been around small children recognizes the behaviors she emulates so well. I can’t imagine how freeing this experience must have been for her - to intentionally unlearn the societal rules and to be childlike seems fantastic.

My favourite performance of the last decade maybe. Her oscar win will age so well.

It's such an amazing combination of the evolution of this character with the accent and the physical movements and the lack of shame for the character is so important. This film has my favorite actress, my favorite director and someone I consider a brilliant Screenwriter. It's no wonder she is the second leading lady win the award for a Yorgos film after Olivia Colman. Each film from him gets bolder and is done so well.

There is also a progression in the way Stone eats at first being more childlike and discovering new flavours to have learned how to use a folk.

Honestly it is really all in her face. She has exactly the mimics of a toddler, showing why it is sometimes so hard to reprimate them for their actions.

I was fully prepared to dislike this movie as I let alot of the criticisms colour my opinion going in....but I was so completely blown away by not only how good the story/art/acting was, but it manages to be truly funny as well. Absolutely loved it.

Emma Stone first got the attention when she was in Easy A and The Help. She has proven herself quite the actress. Bravo Emma.

I love it when I enjoy a movie that is popular not because it's popular, however, because it became popular due to its art or even how entertaining it is. I appreciate good movies becoming popular because they deserve it, not just because they exist.
