I learned this in my piano lessons but my piano teacher had me play it way slower. she said it's because she prefers the way it sounds slowed down as you can get it to sound much more expressive that way, but I think she said that so I wouldn't get depressed by all the child prodigies playing this at full speed and then some while I'm struggling to get it to three-quarters speed (':

Oml when it switches into the D major. It’s just so beautiful. I am learning this piece as a young pianist. It is a really difficult piece to play. I’m a child pianist so my hands are small so it is really hard to reach the octaves 😂
