Ampeg is the only Bass a m p I've ever used in 50 years of playing. Just trying to ratchet up pressure but I must say it's taking them 30 years you get solid-state 2 equal the sound of their old tube amps. But they actually have done it. Hats off

This is a direct competitor to Darkglass rigs, just with underpowered cabs. The V12 is the most intriguing.

When I was a kid in the early 50s I lived in a little town called Shadyside Ohio my dad had a friend named Dom Liberati, never thought I’d hear that name again

Now I have a new recurring nighmare. I'm standing there playing through and loving this rig, until it comes time to pay for it and I realize I have no money. Oh wait that's real life.

I'm sold, just based on the intro.

Why is there no cab sim on the Venture heads as opposed to the Ampeg SGT-DI pedal?

The amp prices are pretty reasonable but those cabs seem a bit high

I'm surprised there is no tuner out. Even the portaflex has that. Not a deal breaker but nice to have

Can the V12 power 2 cabinets? e.g. 2x10 or 2x12 and the 1x15?

Is this to replace the portaflex amps?

Where are Ampeg being built nowadays? They were here at St. Louis Music.

Do these amps have the same feature as the Portaflex amps, where the sound cuts out while you’re playing a gig?

Does anyone know how the Vanture series sounds with upright bass?

I need help on the topic of Ampeg's Venture series cab and head compatibility.

If I want to pair V7 Venture with VB-410, would that be sufficient?
I am asking that because V7 head is 4 Ohm 700 watts, while VB-410 is 8 Ohm 600 watts.

Is VB-410 sufficient?
I am puzzled, how anyone who is a amateur is able to navigate and make a right decision. Why won't they post a compatibility matrix or something.
Why would Ampeg produce within the same series two different ohm settings for their heads and cabs?
So V7's 700 watts, become around 350 watts when converted to 8 Ohm?

On the internet it states that, this transformation losses power.
