What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. many years ago someone died because of minecraft in turkey but goverment didn't do anything for it but some parents saw +18 things info in social media then goverment closed the roblox. i am just a developer and i just want to resume my works. i don't even care what childs doing. families needs to control they childs. i hope they will open roblox back...

Surely the Turkish government have been googling nsfw videos regarding "Roblox" and "lgbtq" to come up with this decision, right? how else would they decide it's "promoting homosexuality" if they haven't been searching for that online. as for "child endangerment", they probably saw the first game or video that came up and decided "yeah, this isn't safe for our country"

I live in Turkey and have been playing Roblox for 8-10 years all of my time spent in the game is gone because of people that do not know how to do proper investigation. Just because parents doesn't take the time to activate parental restrictions and doesn't keep track of their child while playing Roblox millions of other people who is NOT a clueless child is getting blocked from Roblox it is unbelieveable.

All the money and time all of us spent all these years seems to have never been in consideration while having this decision to block a whole app from our country. The fact that they never even did any research on how Roblox works cause if they did they would have actually get in contact with Roblox the moment they got all these reports and resolved the issue by giving punishment to those who harmed the children or could harm them.

A child can be harmed anywhere on any social platform if parents don't keep track of them its not just about Roblox so should we block every social app in a whole country just because of it? Of course NO that is not how it works children aren't the only ones using them therefore the blocking access to Roblox just cause of bad possibilities is not the right decision at all.

As a dev myself, I can't imagine how something like that would be. I've got a few friends who are also very sad about this, I still don't exactly get the reason as Roblox didn't add parental controls for nothing, being able to disable who can chat with you or things like that. They're also banning certain vpn's now. I hope It's temporary or that people keep finding bypasses.

Their reasoning was good but the decision was bad, they could've talked to Roblox to ban those party and related games instead.
