Firstly, you never asked me to prove myself. I used to be an atheist, just like you. Until my mom came down with lung cancer. I was surprised, my mom wasn't a smoker. The doctors told us the cancer was spreading quickly. I hadn't been to church in about 6 years, but my mom told me to go and pray for her. I did this as many times as I could. The preacher and everyone in the church would pray for her. They removed a lobe of her lung. She has been cancer free for 3 years.

I have had such a tumultuous life. My belief in God is, at times, the ONLY thing that got me through the hell I have lived in. I know not everyone that sees this video will believe in God, I know that for some reason some of you will feel the need to say cruel and hateful things to & about those of us who do believe. Not one comment I have read from one who believes has belittled you for your lack of belief or pushed their beliefs on you.
There is just no need to be hateful. Just let it go.

Wow, reading some of these comments, I realized that people need to actually listen to the song. It's naming off many of the issues today and not stressing that all they do is pray. They are saying that we as a whole can make a deference, even if its just one of us and they pray for a better day. Because its no secret that this Nation is going down hill. So if everyone truly tried to make a difference then this place would be a better place and That's why they pray.
