Hello folks!
Today I made a super easy toad in the hole :) which is essentially just a giant Yorkshire pudding filled with sausages. Perfect with a rich onion gravy or do as we did…with baked beans! I’m often asked the secret to beautifully risen Yorkshire pudding…I believe that letting the batter rest for a few hours (the longer the better, overnight would be great!) And also the temperature of your oil makes a huge difference! Make sure your oil is spitting hot before you add the matter.

What I used -
6-8 Pork sausage links
3-4 Tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
160g (5.6 oz) Plain/all purpose flour
4 Large eggs
220ml (7.4 fl oz) Semi skimmed milk
1/2 teaspoon each salt & white pepper (optional)
