Histórico bis en Lucia di Lammermoor | Teatro Real 200 años 17/18

¡El cuarto bis en la historia reciente del Teatro Real! El reparto al completo de Lucia di Lammermoor bisó el famoso sexteto del segundo acto de la ópera de Donizetti a petición del público, durante la función del 7 de julio de 2018.

Considerado como una de las instituciones culturales más importantes de España, el Teatro Real es uno de los principales teatros de ópera a nivel internacional, acogiendo en su escenario a los mejores artistas líricos y escénicos del momento.

I was in El Real the last night of Lucia, on the 13th. Oh, Lisette, you moved me to tears. I'm a just-retired Cuban-American-Spaniard university professor who taught American students in Spain for many years, philosophy, religion, history and art, and who used to play the piano as a young man. Opera, or perhaps better said, the magnificent mystery and beauty of the human voice, was from as long as I can remember one of my spiritual delights. I've gone often to see performances in many theaters in Europe and the US, some of them quite spectacular. I still remember Kiri Te Kanawa as Donna Elvira in Paris, 40 years ago. And José Carreras' debut at the Met in Tosca... But there is something you manage to transmit, Lisette, which absolutely took my breath away on the 13th. I cried that evening, I think, as much for Lucia's fate as over the fact that no sooner discovered, we had to give you up to la Fenice and who knows how long we'll have to wait now to partake once again of your magic. I listen over and over to this rendition of the Sextett at home and thank God for the gift of beauty with which He's blessed you. In admiration (though that's hardly the appropriate word) A. M.

Lloré, me emocioné, pero sobre todo, y por encima de todo, presencié la que, no sólo en mi opinión, va a ser la GRAN NUEVA DIVA de nuestra querida Ópera....

Sin palabras...Emocionante ..Pura belleza...Una "Noche en la Ópera" inolvidable

Conmovedora ejecución de uno de los concertantes más bellos del repertorio belcantista. Infalible como siempre Javier Camarena y suprema la joven Lisette Oropesa.

Ahora bien, ya sé Sr. Alden que es usted un renombrado director de escena pero lo que no sé bien es si usted sabe lo que es cantar, el descomunal esfuerzo que entraña, las facilidades que hay que darles a los protagonistas para que den lo máximo que tienen de sí tras años y años de esfuerzo, trabajo, sacrificios, estudio. Pues bien ¿cómo se le ocurre a Vd. hacer que la soprano cante el final de este prodigio de Donizetti tumbada boca arriba sobre una mesa de madera?

Afortunadamente, en el justísimo bis, la Sra. Oropesa, tal vez ya no ligada al "voto de obediencia" contractual, decide pasarse su "genialidad" por el mismísimo arco del triunfo y cantar si no erguida para controlar absolutamente su diafragma y la emisión de la voz, al menos con el pecho vertical y un tanto más cómoda. Bravísima Lisette Oropesa.

Estuve allí en las afueras del Teatro Real viéndolo a través de la Gran pantalla. Fué emocionante!! Con Unas grandes voces. Que Suerte que tuve de verlo...

La confirmación de una ya esplendente, de una enorme soprano: Lisette Oropesa. Extraordinaria Lucía. Maravillosa representación, de una altura vocal que hacía tiempo no escuchábamos. Camarena, en su línea de grandeza y, en general una función historica de tan bella ópera. Disfrutamos como enanos. Había arte a raudales.
