Your Inescapable Calvinistic Heritage

As we celebrate another Thanksgiving, we are reminded of our Calvinist heritage - the Separatists Pilgrims who left England for Holland, and finally the Americas, brought with them their Reformed theology and Geneva Bibles. It was the Calvinistic idea of liberty of conscience which finally prevailed in the establishing of the United States. You may disagree and oppose it, but you cannot deny the influence it had in the establishment and early thinking of Americans.
