BEGINNER Surf Fishing in Destin, Florida || CATCH and COOK

Surf fishing is one of the most popular activities in Destin, Florida. Very few supplies are needed to get out on the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches and catch Whiting, Pompano, or even Redfish and Sharks. Today we head to the beach and have a great time catching some fish and show an easy and delicious way to prepare them for fish tacos.

I am so excited about my trip to Destin. I typically chill at the pier and toss my lure off the side. I've had lots of success with Ladyfish and catching plenty of hard-tails. Some other folks have better luck with Jack Cravalle and other species.

If you are ever going to Destin then look at staying in seascape it’s so nice there and it’s a five minute walk from Ariel dunes to the beach

heading out to florida tomorrow actually. you got any tips for me to catch pompano? heard some beaches still are seeing a fall pompano run. how far should i cast out there for them? also, how far should i be casting and what should i use to find some bluefish?

My family is looking at Destin to vacation this summer, and since I love surf fishing I’m gonna be pitching it big time! OBX is getting too expensive, and the surf fishing isn’t what it once was.

Got a couple bluefish at miramar beach today. Also got another one that i dont know what kind of fish it is. It was long and had a yellow tail. I tried shrimp but had no luck. Sandfleas really do the trick tho 💯
