This may be disappointing as a field charging option, but it actually seems like the best charger option out there for those travelling long distances interstate or overseas by plane. No having to pack a heavy external PSU as it has it internally. It has a small footprint & relatively light for a charger like this It can charge up to 12 lipo's too which is sufficient enough for travel. Surprised reviewers have overlooked this as it really fills a gap in the market. Think I found my travel charger!

Yeah, from a Product family perspective this makes sense as a bench charger. I have their smallest for the field and my 16A pack. I want a new one for the bench to replace my skymax and this is it.

Great review. I'm curious as to why I'm seeing less chargers that charge 4 batteries at once. Also, and most importantly, how many 4 cell 1300mA batteries can you charge with that 16K battery? I'm trying to come up with a good portable charging station.

QUESTION: a friend of mine decided to borrow the lipo battery from within those rentable electric scooters "SCOOT" and cut it in half then proceeded to install that half of the battery into their stand up electric scooter. Only now they dont know what kind of charger they should use to charge it...? Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

DroneCamps RC, super review! Are you able to discharge more than 0.3 amps using this charger? My D2 charger doesn't discharge past 0.3 amps, settings were confirmed. I am discharging a Lipo - 4S 1500mah. Thanks.

question.. is it a 10a charge max or 12a? i noticed on the box it says 10a, but on the product on top it says 12a :)

I think a better solution is two Q6plus chargers with one of those converted server Power supplies to power them both. Then you still have easy field portability and a good home setup. D2 really makes no sense to me

One thing is the charger only accept xt60 plug..need to do convertor if want to charge with deans or any other plug..

Does anyone know if this balances 1A on both 6S ports each or will it only balance on 0.5A each?

DroneCamps RC. Not Bad. But I still like my Thunder 0620AC 20Amps 300 Watt with built in power supply. It may not be as portable as this unit but it packs a powerful punch. The iSDT D2 200W could be greatly improved by making it with a charging output of 20 Amps vs 12 Amps and upping the wattage to 300 watts. Don’t get me wrong-this is a nice little charger, and with the recommended changes, I would snap one up in a heartbeat.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do i calculate how many watts I need in my charger? I'm only trying to charge a 7.4V 850mAh 30C 2S battery.

cool but shame its limited to 10 or 12a...if it was 20a than it could do two parallel at 10a...
