I’ve often said that Milly is the Boston Rob of Hell’s Kitchen. You can tell Chef Ramsay absolutely loves him (similar to how Jeff Probst loves Boston Rob), giving him pep talks, saving him when he doesn’t always do well, even having a gleam in his eye when addressing Milly. Even this immunity win, even if it’s for this challenge, it doesn’t seem to amount to much, since Milly’s never in any danger this episode. There’s a reason this twist never came back.
On a side note, this isn’t a critique of Milly as a person. I don’t know him personally or much about him outside of the show. I just have a strong sense when production favors or wants to push people on certain shows. And I can kinda see that with Milly here.
