Makes me proud to be an American seeing the courage of those profiled by this award. Kudos to the Kennedy's for crossing party lines to identify these well deserving recipients, and even greater congrats to these amazing individuals who have received the award! Thanks for inspiring the next generation.

She can give as good as she can take. And have they ever given her a dirtload. Yet, as said about another women, Yet, she persisted. Indeed. Congratulations, Madam Speaker, you've more than earned it. And many other women will be inspired as a result.

It is so great that New Orleans took down some Confederate monuments at the suggestion of Wynton Marsalis! Hats off to Mr. Marsalis and to the New Orleans mayor, Mayor Landrieu! Well done. Progress is exceeding slow, but this was progress....

If you're going to give Pelosi this award, you might want to find someone that can be more objective. Devisive comments and partisan politics suck.

Nancy Pelosi a courage award? This honor is nothing more than a silver spoon award for a silver spoon political princess.

CBS Sunday Morning was once a great show...but their liberal bias just gets worse and worse...

WOW! How courageous to take down symbols of history!!

Well, as the old adage goes - those who ignore the past, are doomed to repeat it.

Knowing how much Caroline’s parents respected & appreciated history, I doubt they would have went along with rewarding an act to remove it.
