The Profile in Courage Award

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation's Profile in Courage Award is presented annually to elected public officials who have made courageous decisions despite political and personal risks. Martha Teichner talks with Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and her son, Jack Schlossberg, about JFK and the award he inspired, along with past recipients of the award, and this year's honoree.

Kudos to the Kennedy's for crossing party lines to identify these well deserving recipients, and even greater congrats to these amazing individuals who have received the award! Well, as the old adage goes - those who ignore the past, are doomed to repeat it.


Knowing how much Caroline’s parents respected & appreciated history, I doubt they would have went along with rewarding an act to remove it.
