Ghost - Square Hammer (Guitar Cover)

Became a fan of Ghost this past year and thought Square Hammer would be a good first full song to cover. Enjoy :)

Great job! You have the talent. and thankfully, the will to practice. Can I give you a few tips? When doing leads, which you are doing well with, open your right hand more. I can see that you are having trouble with having to look down at both hands. Opening your hand more, letting your pinky rest on the body softly below the strings and sort of "float" around the pick guard, this will help you judge the distance for each string. At first it will feel weird, but it will come to you. Keep in mind, your probably thinking your left hand is where you need the practice, but the truth is, the chords will come in time, but its your RIGHT hand that makes you unique. When you practice, think more about what you are doing with that hand. AND, one more thing...try and spend at least 50% of your practice time at the first three frets. LEARN THE CHORDS! A B C D E F and G within those frets. Get to where you can switch without missing a beat. Its fun to do leads, but if you can't play the acoustic guitar using those chords, you're missing the foundation of a GREAT guitar player. That being said, you are a very good musician. Don't give up, and learn to allow the instrument to become part of who you. When people think of you, they will think "MUSICIAN"! Great job.
