1080p is dead. 1440p is affordable!!!

honestly im more of a Single player guy So i spend less money for 1440ps. all i want is a good image display with really goood colors and g sync, with 144 or 165 hz

Bold statement, however 1080p is not dead. Its for budget setups, yeah 1440p has become cheaper but not everyone will be able to afford that extra buck just to get to 1440p. 1080 is still somewhat a really good choice. Seems like your comparing a cheap 1080p monitor to an expensive 1440p monitor. Go buy an expensive 1080p monitor and its still a good choice to still go 1080p

I truly just don't want a 27" monitor under no circumstance I don't think I would even notice the difference in resolution but I would still love to try 1440p

returning mine. can't stand the ips glow, even in daytime. got conditioned to VA's high contrast. tried bias lighting but glow is still visible

1440p is way better, even for competitive games, night and day diffrence, and it still runs very well in these competitive titles because theyre mostly CPU bound anyway, 1440p is way better, 1080p is still good for budget setups i just dont understand what pros and players at a very high level are still doing at 1080p, they will benefit so much from 1440p, they just dont know it.
