The full name of Big Buddha Phuket is Phra Phutta Ming Mongkol Akenakiri. Big Buddha Phuket is also known as Great Buddha of Phuket, Giant Buddha of Phuket, White Buddha of Phuket, Big Buddha Karon, and Big Buddha Chalong.

Big Buddha Phuket is located at the top of Nakkerd Hill and in Mount Nakkerd Buddha Garden. Big Buddha Phuket is 45 meter tall and 25 meter wide, which makes it the third-tallest buddha statue in Thailand. Big Buddha Phuket is made from concrete and white marble. The full name of Big Buddha Phuket in English is ''The gloriously honourable Buddha on the top of the hill of Naga''.

I visited here a couple of years ago and i enjoyed it, . some nice places to stop and eat on the way up to, .great views over phuket from the viewpoints to, . the area around the big buddha is a bit untidy, but there was a lot of building work still going on at the time I visited, a must see if down that part of thailand. plus its free entry !.
