I was disappointed yesterday against Barrow BUT they say a season is a marathon, not a sprint and we can be positive sure the defence was shockingly bad for the 2nd and 3rd, great to see us almost come back into the game as we've got Dave Challinor who has got promotion under his belt sure we can blame that referee didn't give us the pen yet it was offside but we can take comfort a change in tactics can change games especially if you're 3-0 down like we did but it was down to bad luck in the 92nd and I'm not worried, give it 10 games we'll see then

First half massively let us down. Barrow were quicker to the ball, won every header, every second ball as well. We made mistakes that gave them their chances. Horsfall didn't look great in the first half and he was one of the better defenders in this league last year. Lewis looked really bad and the change at half time was needed. Good fight in the second half but 3 goals was too many. Yes the ref was terrible but we got ourselves into a mess early on. Still baffled by the offside/penalty decision considering the FA states that it should've been a penalty according to the rules.

Terrible defending in the first half but much better after the break. Please please please bring John K back for the commentaries

What a disappointment. The first half County when back to previous bad habits of slow, flat footed, sloppy defending. Kitching's pass was bad but allowing the player you've given the ball to, free rein to run into the box & score is unfathomable. A spirited fight back however & unlucky not to realise a point. I struggle to see the offside from this, but the penalty could surely have stood.
Not an auspicious return, but hopefully just a wake up call.

First goal was poor keeping and the second was unlucky, on another day we concede one maximum. Seasons a long thing, don’t be so negative

The only game mark kitching started last season was when Johnson had a red card and it that game he started kitching got a red card so why does he start first game of the season the league above??
