I think The Cars music has gotten better over time, they very effectively combined an old time rockn'roll sensibility but also embracing the future with strong pop songwriting and top musicianship with a smart modern visual style. This song is a great example of all of that. Great upload thanks!

Saw them ‘79 KC Arrowhead Stadium, we called them “New Wave” no one before or since had their sound. Ric is a kick ass songwriter love how he and Benjamin Orr trade lead vocals. Every member of the band is a top notch musician Ben…is…whew! it’s so very hard to sing lead while playing bass he makes it look easy. Check out vids of him singing lead.
