91.9 Royal Blue Alternative Radio | Cyberpunk 2077

Показать описание
Inspired by other alternative radio channels, such as julius and GTA Fan Made Radio.

Genre: Classic jazz, bebop, post-bop, jazz fusion, jazz-funk, free jazz, avant-garde and jazz rock.

"Music from more than 100 years ago. Playing diverse selections of classic jazz, from 1950s bebop to late 1970s jazz fusion. Featuring the likes of Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan and more."

My first ever non-GTA alt radio. If this one is well received, I might actually try more non-GTA radios.

This playlist is basically an synthesis of JNR and Fusion, it has elements of both. But this radio also has more experimental and free jazz/avant-garde jazz twist to it. But one thing I don't really like about Cyberpunk radios in general, not just this one, is the fact that they didn't really put a DJ or at least jingles on this. It's just felt a bit generic sometimes, would be nice to have few lines here and there.

Notes:
This isn't the actual Royal Blue playlist, I specializes in making a fan-made/alternative radio based on the original one. I mostly focus on GTA radios, but sometimes I branch out into another game like this one. Thank you for enjoying my playlist though. I have other jazz playlists as well, like Jazz Nation Radio, Fusion and Worldwide from GTA series, if you want more.

Imagine you’re in Cowboy Bebop with cyberpunk

The only station I listen to when one or both of the requirements below are met:
1) It's raining in-game, especially at night
2) I'm cruising in the Villefort Delegate
Grew up in NYC, but delved into jazz on both coasts--this station reminds me of those times, every time.
Appreciate you putting this up.

After watching cyberpunk edgerunner, I played cyberpunk 2077. Idk why I did, but I was driving with jazz station radio on. The neon signs of the city, rain, the voice of Chet Baker. It was peculiar emotional combination. I kept drive as if I'm David or V. I was drunken by all the sentiments of Night City.
Until V was riding the bike with T pose.

This radio goes along perfectly with the most insanely terrible driving possible after just executing an incapacitated grunt with a point blank shotgun blast

I think all the radios appeal too a type of character. For example, Body Heat correlates with a Mox type character, I’d imagine this station goes with a cyber detective type.

Multiple songs here have been sampled in MF DOOM tracks. Like the keyboard solo in Jeanine. Great selection from CDPR as well as Madlib for utilizing these great jazz tracks.

My two favorite radio stations are this one and morro rock because at least Jazz and Rock are the last genres that are entirely human and from the past. Instead of the automated and futuristic world that we see in game.

Went back to cyberpunk recently cause of new updates and expansion. With the new update you can have this station playing 24/7 and it just makes the game so much better! Thanks for posting this❤

Another Interesting Radio! I have done Body Heat Radio from Cyberpunk, a lot of cool sounds and new music to learn!

You know, I was also thinking whether to make an alternative from this game or not, because of what you said in the description. Still, great stuff right here. The last couple of songs are insane!

It's very interesting for CDPR to add a jazz radio into this game because it does not really fit the whole backdrop of the Cyberpunk world (and sadly there isn't a similar radio in GTA or Fallout franchise), nevertheless the fun it brings is huge and I do enjoying picking this station while driving my Type-66 Cthulhu :) Thanks for uploading this!
