Tate Britain | Rothko and Turner Exhibition

A quick visit to the free Tate Britain museum in London. The Tate’s focus is British art and displays beautiful works by JMW Turner, Gainsborough, and Henry Moore.

Though not British, they also display a set of murals by Mark Rothko I highly recommend checking out.

The museum is free, but they currently require you to book a timed ticket to limit the number of visitors in the galleries. You can easily book a ticket on their website.

London has so many amazing museums! I think my favourite is still the Victoria and Albert, but the last time we did museum visiting in London, we went to the National Portrait Gallery. That was very interesting!

Excellent video with nice smooth and steady footage. I used to visit this place on school trips back before it was Tate Britain (back then it was the main Tate gallery before they opened the new Tate Modern in the old power station further up the river). I haven't actually been back since then but I intend to someday. I have been visiting London quite a lot this year so perhaps I will try and pop in here the next time I'm down that way. Believe it or not, even with all the times I've been to London, I haven't been to the Tate Britain either. Also haven't seen the London museum. Need to make those a priority next times. Doesn't seem like there are many people there.
