The company says the employees all Mexican(production) will be placed on indefinite layoff effective June 28…. My father received terrible harassment from John Deere for years when a manager called him a F@&#% Mexican. @ exactly the same time his Union Steward was present & my Father says did you hear that? if he saying that in front of our union Stewart imagine what they’re saying when you’re not around. they had to address the harassment…years later my father told me when he arrived in this country legally as a young man he turns on the TV and the first thing he sees are these white people trying to harass /intimidate these young black African-American girls that just wanted to attend high school. I remember my first day at school my father told me too defend any of the black girls at my school from any kind of harassment whatsoever.
