Man great score! Been wearin Red Wings for 10+ years. They are a great long lasting work boot. I wear them everyday and work in construction as a plumber. Even w how hard I am on them and conditions I put them thru they last. Just clean and oil that leather and you will have them for years. Also very comfortable. And I think I paid over $150 for my last pair I bought so you scored. Thanks for the great vids

I am a big fan of my redwings and steel toe, best boots I've ever had.

I worked in a lumberyard in ND and they saved my feet from heavy lumber and steel siding on multiple occasions. My co-workers told me I was nuts for wearing steel toe in the winter, but it never bothered me but its still something for you to consider.

WOW! You scored big on those boots. I grew up in MN and Red Wings have been made in Red Wing, MN since the early 1900's. They were my first pair of boots when I became a boy scout. We have Red Wing shoe stores, unfortunately just like you don't buy $80 shirts, I don't buy $300 boots. Those will last you the rest of your life. Congrates!

My grandfather had a pair of Red Wing Boots, for 20 years.... He wore them everyday... Their quality isn't what is used to be, so its a good thing you found a vintage pair.

those aren't from the 70s, there is a bar code on the price tag. I has a pair of the same in black. they lasted 3 years in an automotive stamping plant. that was 2003, and I think I paid $150-$160

I took advantage of Bud Ks weekend sale and bought my first Zippo, along with several united cutlery stiletto knives. The overall quality of the knives are great, but the blades of course need some serious sharpening. Nice find on those boots btw I am really jealous!!!!

Hey Jeff those are an old pair of red wing 2245's. Great boots! Red Wing still makes this style but in a darker brown, your boots are the ORO-iginal leather very classic Red Wings. I would date them from the early 90's to 00's

Sweet, im working in the marine industry and i have a hand-me-down redwing safety boot from my dad who had a spare boot from either the 70s-80s. Man are those comfortable but more importantly, those built in that era were built to last.

Red Wing boots! Free shoelaces for life! After 8 hrs in USA Red wings my feet are done. Do an update when you wear these for a awhile then get some insoles. Switched to USA Keens and never looked back. Very comfy and make great hiking boots too....they just don't last but two years tho.

red wings are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn. I buy em, and when they out, about every 7 years of daily wear, I buy another pair. For the price you can't beat em.

I wore my dads redwing steel toe boots everywhere! mudding, school, store, house. They were comfortable! i never felt tired of standing while wearing them compared to 100$ running shoes, jordans, levis. I really want another pair but they are expensive! lol and something more fashionable since i really don't do heavy work. they dont withstand the chewing force of my pit though, he demolished them so that's why i want another pair
