Decavitator really feels like the Splatana that plays around the melee aspect, needing to get up quite close to fully utilise the one-shot since the tap swipes are slower than stamper and range is similar to wiper

My favorite thing about this weapon is when you kill two people at once with one dash there is no better feeling with a Splatana

They secret reason why Nintendo didn’t give emperrys inkjet is because they wanted charcoal to be the only good front line inkjet weapon in splatoon 3

I use charcoal because the ink wall is a good defence for holding a certain point with a charged dash or for setting up a dash

I don't know about technicality, but from the many games I've played with/against the decavitators by now, Mint has been significantly more deadly

Chara. I am not sure how this will work in compations but (I still play swords btw). When useing the mint one you could throw a bomb, pop the bubble, throw another bomb and then use the charged slash to theten a 1 hit or the 2 hit combo. I find it goves me so much space for my team and could possibly find multykills if I play correctly. Ty for reading

trying to get a charge with no dash is incredibly slow. you can get splatted my most shooters between the time you release ZR and when the shot actually comes out

imo mint is better in solo q bcus playing without a bomb is hell when your teammates don't do map control, especially in zones.

Honestly I like the weapon and All, but it REALLY doesn’t fit my play style.

Nothing sucks more than having gear that visually matches one version of a weapon but the actual kit of that version is pretty awkward to use due to inexperience😭 My outfit is PERFECT for Mint Decavitator but the common consensus is that Charcoal is better😭 I hope they give it another kit at some point where it's a sticker kind of redesign for the kit rather than a recolor of the weapon😭 In terms of a kit I think that would be super fun especially for sharking I can't deny how absurdly fun it would be to have something super aggressive whilst still helping out with the ink coverage like Sprinkler and Kraken. Especially given how much Kraken resembles how you already use the main weapon. (IE a lighter more combo based attack while having another attack with a lot of mobility and damage). Given that the weapon itself also has a lot of ink coverage I think it could combo in with something like Sprinkler super well if you can place them down correctly. It allows you to still ink important areas whilst really taking advantage of the sharking potential of the weapon and it's flank-like usage.
