Why mosquitoes bite some people

Have you ever noticed that you're especially popular with the mosquitoes? Maybe they're swarming you but leaving your friends un-bitten? It might be your skin. Certain bacteria on your skin secrete chemicals that are especially attractive to mosquitoes.

Thanks for sharing.  Mosquitoes are very small, about 1/8 - 3/8" long. They have six legs and long mouthparts called a proboscis. Their coloring varies from grey to black with some having white, green or blue markings. Individually, mosquitoes are very difficult to spot as they fly because of their small size and because they are most active from dawn to dusk.

I had dengue last year and it was my first time staying overnight in the hospital. I had high fever 4 days straight and felt very very weak. I was so dizzy and I almost fell down from the stairs. White spots started to appear at my thighs. I had to stay in the hospital for a week. So, mosquitoes are very scary o.o

This makes no sense with me. I drink beer, exercise more, and have less chemicals in my body than my best friend who doesn't drink beer, has a sedentary lifestyle (due to disabilities) and takes a bunch of meds. Yet, when we're together, she gets eaten up by the mosquitoes and they leave me alone.
