That's beautiful... Thank you .... need one suggestion regarding same displacement of elements in family file with displacement individual parts of family file which made in generic model ... once it placed in project file and once applied displacement to this family object the whole family file had moved instead of individual parts .... is there any solution ??? Please please suggest .... ???? Thanks again

For a future video can you cover how one can export vector files from Revit and import said files into a programme like Illustrator with all of the layers maintained? I often find myself wanting to use Illustrator to work on 2D drawings from Revit, but when the PDF files are imported into Illustrator it doesn't come with layers, all of the lines get merged into a single group and you can't select specific elements (i.e. wall components, windows, floors etc.) without selecting a number of irrelevant lines. This makes the work process in Illustrator tremendously tedious and time-consuming. Programmes like Sketchup and Rhino allow you to export files and maintain the layers into Illustrator quite easily, but for Revit it's not the case.

I've found one work around (on YouTube) which is to import the drawings (or axonometric views) into AutoCAD, and save the file as a 2010 LT file type. This new CAD file is then imported into Illustrator, and it has all of the original layer groups that Revit made when exporting to AutoCAD, but I'm curious if there's another and easier solution than having to go from Revit > AutoCAD > Illustrator.
