1 year later, 5 years later, 10 years? Now 11 years later it seems like a life time ago when ENunn started his channel or at least in a main era -- the kind of peak youtube channels will never come again. Youtube in the mid 00s to the early 2010s was a very special time and place to be part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run. But no explanation, no amount of Youtube poops, logos, lets plays, troll/mlg videos, angry reviews, or internet archive can touch that sense of knowing you were there and alive in that corner of time on the internet.

There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not on the trending tab, then on your friends youtube channel. You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a careless universal sense that whatever we were doing was for fun, that we were winning.

And that, I think was the handle --- that sense of posting and having fun over being boring and coporate. Not in any serious or moral sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would prevail. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a hasty and reckless wave.

So now, less than 10 years later, you can go on internet archive in the wayback machine and look back, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark --- that place where the wave finally broke and roll back.

Anyways when's more Enunngaming and Halo 3 you asshole :)
