Linear fitting in Origin, linear fit, linear fitting, data fitting, outlier removal, linear regression, set of data points, How to linearly fit the data in Origin
An outlier is typically described as a data point or observation in a collection of data points that is "very distant" from the other points and thus could be due to, for example, some fault in the measurement procedure. Identification and removal of outliers are often controversial and is typical "more acceptable" in situations where the model used to describe the data is well known and well accepted.

great piece of work sir. Please also upload video on how to fit resistivity data in metallic as well as semiconducting region, also magnetization curie weiss fit because this content is totally missing and researchers need it so much. Thanks again

Great explaination, sir i want to ask a question how to interpret data for the single carrier organic device, as you know to find electron mobility and hole mobility we use mott gurney law, so after making the device and getting the J-V curve data which is a straight line we need to do the log of X and Y axis and then by fitting we can can find where the slope is 2 at that region we will apply the mott gurney law and we can find the mobility. Can you please make q video on that.

good vedio
how you got m and C value?

that is my concern so i watched your vedio. but you have not explained, in the begining slide you have mentioned sir.

so pls if you can also explain that it will be great help for audience.

To fit the curve for reversible cyclic voltammetry, I have to use linear fit? Or nonlinear?

Nice video. I have a question. I need to calculate limit of detection (LOD) and my different analyte conc. is like 0.001M, 0.0001M, 0.00001M, upto pico molar. I am unable to fit this range in origin. How can I fit this range so that I can calculate LOD? My X-axis is the impedance and Y-axis is analyte conc.

In my experimental plot I got negative intercept value which is not correct according to literature. I don’t know where is the problem in the data. Could you plz explain why it come negative. Not for every plot just in two plots it’s negative rest of the plot is positive intercept.

Sir, how to increase the accuracy of the estimated equation? I mean, how to increase the digits after the decimal point in the estimated equation?
Or how to get the estimated equation in a fractional format?
