Could we please leave Tyler alone? He is a good man. He would never hurt anyone, and to be frank, I respect him for NOT wanting to talk about controversial social issues. It riles people up and can cause a lot of fighting sometimes, especially on a place like Twitter. Tyler, and influential people in general, should not be pushed into showing public support for things. He can use his platform for whatever he wants.
Also, he hates disappointing his fans in any way, so I’m sure this has been a stressful experience for him. Just leave the guy alone.

as a person of color pushing thru poverty living out of a hotel due to job loss and evictions during covid i can vouch and say that that tweet was not offensive. People with a platform are allowed to speak on whatever they choose to and telling him to speak up on something that he wouldnt have spoken about on his own and then canceling him and doxxing him when he doesnt his quite controling and insensitive in itself. grow up people. if he cares enough to speak on it, he obviously will but you cant punish him if he doesnt its just a question of what he cares about most. that doesnt mean his heart doesnt go out to the cause it just means there are more things on his mind than that. hes an artist for christs sake, that does not warrant a public response on all of lifes issues wtffff

i am person who i don't care how much i might like you or even if we are family i'm still gonna call you out on being wrong and i am a poc and i see nothing wrong with what he did especially bc he is a huge advocate for mental health and blm in his own time. He didn't want to talk about it directly on social media and that doesn't make him a bad person he is just trying to do what he can for his own mental health. He is a good person just trying to survive like the rest of us.

He obviously didn't want anything to do with it so he made a joke about it. If you can't handle him NOT preaching the message you want delivered, maybe you should find someone else who is more willing.
