For me, this song not only talks about a person. That “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan” and “Sa’n man mag Layag.” also talks about ‘Dreams’.

Madami mang daan ang pwede mong daanan, madami mang pag subok ang pwedeng dumating, kahit gaano pa yan katagal at kahirap, maligaw ka man at mawala, ALWAYS CHASE THAT DREAM!!! Kasi in the end, pag naka dating kana sa ‘Pinangarap mong Patutunguhan’, mapapa sabi ka nalang ng it’s all worth it!

This literally tells my man and my story atm. “Saan man maglayag, ikaw lang ang patutungohan, at sa aking pagdating, sa’yo ko lang sasabihin, kay palad na ikaw ang kapiling sa mga along nagdaan, kay saya na ako’y sa’yo”. LDR kami ngayon, 2 years straight and I have a 5-year contract abroad, so 3 more years to go. Eight going to Nine years together, sobrang hirap, may mga panahon na nakakawalang gana, nakakapagod, nakakapanghina na parang gusto na naming sukuan ang isa’t-isa, may mga faults and mistakes din na nangyari na kung tutuusin unforgivable na. Pero to think na bibitawan namin ang isa’t-isa is unimaginable. On my part, I can’t picture my future self living without him by my side, we grew up together, so I always pray to God na sana bigyan pa ako ng lakas for us to grow old together. Sabi nga ng kanta “kay palad na ikaw ang kapiling sa mga along nagdaan”. Lahat ata ng problema, nalagpasan namin na magkasama. Ang pinagdadasal ko lang ngayon, bigyan pa kami ni Lord ng pasensya, pangunawa, respeto, pagmamahal at lakas to fight for each other.
