Once upon a time, the girls are summoned to the mysterious Kingdom of Libestal.
Unable to remember anything from before their arrival, they become entangled in the kingdom's conflicts.

For anyone wondering where the Eldritch Horror is, remember that Ina's lore is equal parts inspired by Lovecraft and Shinto mythology. She has the tentacles, a dark magic book, and powers from the void, but she's also a priestess and is shown standing in front of a torii gate in the ending screen she's had since debut. Not to mention she's spoken of having "priestess duties" several times in the past.
On top of that, not only is she partially inspired by Eldritch horror, but she's supposed to be a _reversal_ of that genre. Instead of being taken over by dark magic to become a monstrosity beyond human comprehension, she just yoinks the power for herself and remains mostly human to help lead spirits to the afterlife.

Ina's Lore has been unlocked for us, and it's as sweet as her personality

Beautiful. I am reminded of Death from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. Sister to Dream, it was her job to gather the souls of those who die, and deliver them to their final resting place. A very sweet and compassionate character, just like Ina.

There is something comforting about this. Ina was my oshii back in the day, and she brought me a lot of comfort during 2020. This lore fits her beautifully.
