Your next video should be on how you stay disciplined during school with the heavy workload. Especially when the burnout kicks in or when you have other things on your mind (Netflix, hanging out with friends, etc). I feel as if this is going to be my biggest flaw.

Thanks for your video! It's wonderful. I'm still in my 2nd didactic year but PEDS is for sure one of my favorite specialties so far. Will def keep HEENT and DERM in mind while learning.

I’m thinking my first rotation may be peds because I was a ped MA and she wants to put us where we have worked before first so we are more comfortable. Just went back to shadow a PA I worked with but she only saw 3 that day (teething, hand foot mouth, then colic and possible intususseption). I used to do all of the POC exams as an MA, vaccines, beginning note, vitals, etc.

Is pediatrics a “normal” or available speciality for PAs? I want to pursue a career involved with medicine and a career that involves interacting with kids so becoming a PA is on my list of possibilities. However, I am struggling to find information about PA careers in pediatrics. Any insight would help! Thanks!!

i’m an undergrad & classes right now are so hard i feel as though i’ll never become a pediatric pa due to failing major classes like chem or bio & ironically my major is biology. any tips on studying for major classes & exams/finals? how to stay on top of things? avoid distractions like netflix & midday naps. thank you so much in advance.

Thank you very much for making this vid! I stary my Peds rotation in 2 weeks, assuming I don't fail out before then, lol. Question: do you recommend any materials/resources/books for Peds other than the standard UpToDate/Epocrates/Maxwells? Thanks in advance! (:

Do you have the option of doing a NICU rotation?

Hello,

I have a question about the clinical year of the PA program at UK. Are all of the clinical sites close to campus or would students be required to move temporarily?

Hey! Can you get into PA school with a Bachelors of Physical Education? I thought you needed to have a bachelors degree in biology or chemistry but I know you can get into PA school with other degrees as well right?
