One of my favourite nicknames that Bakugo came up with is "Icy hot". "Pink cheeks" was a little bit too on the nose, "Sparky/Spark plug" is alright I guess, "Spiky hair" was funny, but "Icy hot" hits just right whenever he says it.

There was a dude that used to sub in for some of my classes in elementary school who would always come up with nicknames for each student based on what we were wearing on that specific day. I don’t remember him using anyone’s real name other than for checking attendance. A lot of the nicknames he came up with were really funny, so whenever I knew we were going to have a sub, I’d deliberately dress in some of my most unique / wackiest clothing in the hopes that he’d be the sub and that I’d get one of the best nicknames for that day. It’s been many years now, so I don’t remember how much my classmates shared my enthusiasm about this guy, but it sure is one of my best memories of elementary school.

It sucks that I can’t remember more of the nicknames he came up with (I don’t even remember any he gave to me), but I do remember one: Once in fifth grade, one of my classmates broke his leg and had to use crutches for a while. The sub came in while the kid was still using them, and he called him Peg Leg Pete the whole day. The kid’s real name wasn’t even Peter. That guy was awesome.

For years now, I have been calling him in my head more times than I can count nitro blondy. It's the perfect nickname/comeback at him in my eyes. 😌 If he called me everything but my name, I would do the same to him.
