How do they know it's compressed? I have twitching toes on my right foot and weakness because of it. A Neurologist told me I have to live with it. How do I find out if I have compression?

This freaked me out as it made me think I have ALS. It’s been 15 months with this . Now my podiatrist has me in a boot. When I’m actually in a boot, it’s starts to feel better .

What if the nerve is fine (no compression) but have no movement on your feet? and also is numbness

Why can't this nerve be uncompressed without surgery? It's like when leg falls asleep...but quickly wakes up upon standing. How can someone become disabled by crossing legs, or sitting incorrectly? It makes no sense...

Will that septum grow back? Also what is it exactly? A structure that’s supposed to be there or something that only grows from injury?
