Mississippi's New flag goes hard. I personally voted for the one with the mosquito. I thought it both highlighted the state bird, as well as a tasteful critique of how our ineffective government is a parasite on the greater federal government and abuses the welfare system so hard that people here have multigeneration homes that primarily work in manipulating tax codes, benefits, and food stamps. It's so prevalent it's basically our primary passtime.

Oklahoma’s flag isn’t actually the state seal on a blue background as most people say it is, it’s actually a buffalo skin shield of the Osage nation. It’s a pretty decent flag, but the Oklahoma text kinda ruins it for me. It’s kinda like the flag of Indiana, when it’s a good design but the name of the state on the flag messes with it. But unlike Indiana, Oklahoma used to not have their name on their flag which made it look better. I wish they kept it that way.
